EV Indonesia 2024 – The 3rd Edition of The Largest Trade Exhibition in Southeast Asia for Electric Vehicle and Automotive Industry









JAKARTA – According to a joint study conducted by AC Ventures and e-mobility association AEML, the total of electric vehicle ecosystem market in Indonesia is estimated will surpass USD 20 billion in 2030. This study shows that Research & Development (R&D) and electric vehicle manufacture sector offer the largest total market, around USD 12.5 billion to USD 15 billion in 2030.

Besides, the market size for cell manufacture and battery management system is estimated to be worth around USD 3 billion to USD 4.5 billion, while charging infrastructure is estimated will reach around USD 2 billion to USD 3 billion in 2030.

The study also revealed that service, maintenance, and battery recycling industries will reach market size around USD 500 million to USD 1.5 billion in 2030. However, battery recycling industry is estimated will not enough in 2030 because the existence of electric vehicle industry is fairly new in Southeast Asia region, especially because electric vehicle battery generally last about 10 years.
